I seem to remember some discussion of this topic last season but would like refresh the discussion prior to the water level comming up.

It seems that no matter how much time and effort i spend on pulling them during the summer, they always come back with a vengence.  I was goiung to spray them with Roundup this winter when the water receeded but the b*stards dont have any leaves.  Would it do me any good to use a garden hoe and simply dig them up while they still apear to be dorment?  Should I spray them with some "wonder spray" before the water returns and if so what?

These things are worse than the squirls on my bird feeder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
