First of all, will Alabama Power allow someone to remove sand and sediment that has filled in parts of a slough and use it on their lots for landscaping purposes?  Second, who will do that?  In the past, I have had to clear our boat ramp every winter using a shovel and wheelbarrow.  I have been using the material to fill in low parts of our lot and to cover eroded hillsides.  I was hoping that someone with the right equipment could clear out more of that material and move it to places where it could be used elsewhere on our lot.  It is hardly construction quality material, but it does have uses.  I don't mind doing it the hard way, but moving more stuff faster has its advantages.
