I didn't watch the interview but did see some clips. He literally has no idea how much all these freebies cost and how the rich will never pay for them even if they had enough money.....which they do not. He is economically illiterate which is why he seems to appeal to people who are likewise economically illiterate. As Bastiat said, "Government is that fiction by which everyone lives at the expense of everyone else." Nothing new under the sun here and if he is the nominee the contrast could not be any more stark. The scary question is just how many Democrats will vote for a socialist because they dislike Trump. Cutting off your nose to spite your face is not the way to go. But even more sad, Bernie would already have over 170 electoral college votes locked in even before the election is held. I do not hold with those that think he will lose in a 49-state landslide. They wildly underestimate what the education system has done over the last 30 years.
