I won't be reading her book, but I think she must be in a lot of pain to write a book like that.  As I understand it, she believes that Donald was favored over her father and as a result she got less of an inheritence from her grandfather than she deserved.  She's probably been stewing about it for years.  She wants to inflict pain on her uncle; the sad thing is that it won't help her heal her soul which is what she is trying to do.  I'm sure the money will be nice to have (to make up for the family inheritence she didn't get), but it will leave her permanently estranged from her family.  The people that hate Trump will continue to hate him, book or no book, and his supporters won't read it.  

As far as Bolton, I'm sure the money will come in handy for his retirement and the life he'd like to become acustomed to but its also a way to give the big FU to Trump, which seems to be equally important to people with a huge ego.
