Per his office, he had a very busy June travel schedule, where he could have contracted it at any time in the previous 2 weeks before he had symtoms (including hot spot Arizona) and was admitted in early July.  Remember the three "C's" when out and about.  Avoid "confined places".  Avoid "crowded spaces".   And above all, avoid "Close contact".  RIP Herman, you were a good man, an intelligent man who is gone far too soon.
