You folks are missing the point of my initial reply to MM. Physicians all over the country have been using convalescent plasma. It seems logical that it should help. Controlled studies need to be done to determine to whom it should be given and at what point in the disease process it should be given. These studies are ongoing. Let them proceed. For the Trump administration to jump ahead of the parade and start dictating the particulars is interfering with the process of scientific study. It is dangerous and if they proceed in the same manner with vaccine introduction it will prove to be confusing to the public and will slow down the ultimate goal that we all hope for.
