It is not at 487.7. APC has been dropping the lake very fast in anticipation of the rain.

If you notice that level (487.7) was last reported to the website on 9/13.

To be sure you are getting the latest info you need to call (800)LAKES11.

As of this morning (9/16) the level was 486.8, a drop of 10.8 inches since 9/13!!

APC has been running 4 turbines at LM a lot over the last few days. 4 turbines equates to roughly 16,000 cu. ft. / second of water.
