My father bought a small lot here on the lake when I was 16 years old. Since I am will be 60 in May, I think I am quallified to comment on this subject. My husband kiddingly says one of the reasons he married me was because it meant he could come to the lake. It worked, we've been married 41 years. We have been weekenders and after his military career was over, we stayed in Montgomery. 5 years ago, we built our dream lakehouse. I believe everyone who comes to the lake or lives here are the luckiest people in the world. If you are courteous on the water, the land, to your neighbors, on the roads and in the businesses, I welcome everyone to this wonderful place. I really regret to see comments from anyone that would make someone think that the "full-timers" don't seem to be welcoming to our visitors or our neighbors.
