The penaly, (or fine) for operation of a fiberglass fishing vessel after the regulated time is very severe. It was mandated by the LMPBA, section 10 page 46. It states, "operation of a fiberglass fishing vessel after the set time limit will result in the vessel being turned over to the LMPBA to be used as bonfire material to be used as a signaling device to attract pontoon operators to a specific island", also, if said vessel is powered by an outboard motor, the outboard motor would be donated to wafflehouse and would be used as a giant eggbeater. It sounds harsh, but LMPBA decided it was the only way to keep the lake safe.
