a trip into Alex City is always fun for "the girls." Have a little quick bite at Carlisles soda fountain, then go across the street to Cloud Nine gift shop and right next door to Carlisles is Chabby but Chic ( a fun little antique shop).... On the same side of the street as Cloud Nine visit the Wine shop (for sipping and gossiping later :).... and Merle Norman for some great "Fall Colors." Then drive down to the antique mall by Sonic Drive In... High Cotton. It's lots of fun

Sinclairs is a great nice dinner out as is Cecils' in Alex City.

Lake Martin Mini Mall down in Kowlagia area is fun to visit too

and if you want a bit of a drive go to Cindy's home and garden shop near Wetumpka.... (she always has an ad in Lake Martin Living) Great Prices!

The little shop Glorias in Dadeville is cute.

Oh... and for a great steak go to Poplar Dawgs on Fri or Sat. night (no frills but great steaks!)

Now, if a "chick flick" is playing.... the theatre in Alex City is the cheapest of anywhere I know. I think you have a choice of 3pm or 7pm and that 's it!

and the Peebles in Alex city as well as Goody's and Hallmark can be fun to browse and pick up some odds and ends! I really like Peebles. Cute clothes and never crowded!

Oh Oh Oh... if you need to update your "casual or workout wear" a trip to the Russell outlet is a Must!

Oh, you can always rent a movie at Movie Gallery to go with the wine you bought at the wine shop and stay in and have fun!!!!
