I checked a number of homes of friends and relatives. Some were appraisals based on recent market activity and some were shown as tax appraisals. Seems the tax appraisals are significantly lower than true market value appraisals. My Virginia home "zillow shown appraisal" is probably pretty close. No way to find my Lake Martin place since it does not have an address so to speak.
