Where do you personally stand or do you have an opinion on using multipe aliases? I implore you to answer that single question somewere in your response. Do you do it?

I think I may agree with you Long Time Laker in some aspects. I liked BAJ. Bought his book and thought it rather good. I also enjoyed and read his various articles mostly reprints from his book in Lake Martin Living Magazine. Sort of took be back to the Lake everytime I read his articles.

I do not recall BAJ ever changing his alias or trying to deceive anyone on the Forum. I don't take him for being that insecure. Maybe I am wrong, but I have more respect for him than those type immature games.

I also agree with you that, unless you choose to, it is not necessary to reveal who you are in the open. That is why we all have an alias on the Forum. Over the years many of us have got to know each other from private email and have made friends. It is a personal decision.

You refer to it as feb's rant, and I agree. Keeping your identity secret on the Forum is a given, but to use that guise to change an identity is basically taken advantage of a loop hole to deceive the regulars and good people on the Forum.

Hope you will state it. Bottomline: Where do you stand on the use of multiple aliases on the Forum. Please state you opinion up front. Hope it is your single alias doing so.

If you do not answer this simple question, then for what little it is worth you have lost my respect. A particular handle does not give you repect only the content of your post. I guess someone could grab the the handle "Eternal Laker". Does a handle give you more credit on the Forum?
