lol jlazc! I'm sure a lot of people do not care whether or not there are majorettes. But a lot of people do. Many, many little girls in the south- and all over- grow up taking dancing, baton, and gymnastics all their lives with the dream of some day becoming a cheerleader, majorette, or dance line member. Why on earth would we stop having any of those things? I have a daughter who does say she wants to be an Auburn majorette. I'm sad to think that when she does get there, they may no longer exist. Besides the tradition of our band and majorette line.
Some may not care one way or the other, but as ot said- why would anyone really want to get rid of them?
