Well, all I can say is why be miserable over it. I choose to enjoy the 480 that is here and not whine and complain about the 10 that isn't. As I have stated before, all of my friends and neighbors have moved their watercraft out to other friends places that have water. It is a hassle that we are not used to, but we still enjoy the lake. Think about the hundreds of boats that come to the lake every weekend that don't have a house here. They pack their boat, go to a public ramp, launch and have a GREAT time. I suggest you try it sometime. Too many folks are just spoiled to walking to their pier and taking off, but if you love the lake and want to have a good time it is still there. And with the water this low there are enough beaches for us all to have our own.
Bottom line is that you can't change it so why not just go with the flow, or in this case the lack of a flow. But I do so enjoy the conspiracy theories. They are good for a smile when I read them.
This is the worst, but not the first drought. God willing I will live to see another in a decade or so.
