I am no politician (nor do I consider myself in one wing or the other). I do not claim to have the answers, but I do think of immediate helpfulness would be a safe forum where people can talk without fear of attack. If we conduct ourselves with civility, perhaps more would tell us what they know and think about the lake situation. I'm not an expert on Alabama Power or droughts, but I have eyes. I came to the forum to listen, learn, and discuss. We might actually be able to prevent a huge crisis if we would acknowledge realities and anticipate the consequences with the best information we can muster between us.
