We live near Dennis Creek and my wife and I began to notice muscle shells on the pontoons of our boat. After about a week we tried to use the pontoon but it wouldn't run. After closer inspection we discovered that the fuel line, depth finder cable, and most of the wiring between the motor and boat was gone. The marina came to the rescue and told us Muskrats had gotten to our boat. After $1,450.00 and weeks of waiting the repairs are complete and the boat will again be usable.
Anyone have any hints on how to rid the boat of Muskrat damage other than a gun as with my aim I would probably miss and blow a hole in the pontoon.
We are one of the fortunate ones with year round water, even through the drought and I guess that aids to the Muskrats attraction.

Any ideas.
