It's a couple of miles from my "other" house; Smith and Davis is basically an old style family owned clothing and shoe store. I think of them as more of an outfitter store for work, camping, casual living, etc. They have piles of stuff that is better than average quality, nothing fancy and nothing off any designer list. Service is usually very good and they do have hard to find sizes in both shoes, boots, and clothing. 15 years ago, I figured they would never last through the intense growth of the area, but they continue to survive for now (which is a good thing). I wouldn't make a trip from Eclectic or B'ham just to go there, but then again, I'm not hard to fit and I don't know whats available for hard to fit people. If they have something you need, I'll be glad to bring it to you.
