Cooling towers still would not alleviate the problem of navigation for barges and flood control issues. I agree that the lake could be managed better to keep the water levels higher but I do think SLISA has taken the wrong approach that makes profitable motivation from developments highly obvious and somewhat offensive to many people. Seems there is little consideration for the little folks, people down the river below the dam, and the local people who have enjoyed the lake since it was built. I see very little local economy benefits from the development on the lake. Funny how the pavement ran out at the gates to the upscale community up the road and I'm still on a gravel road.... un-cool!!!!
