you walk in their shoes! I have been to many a ceremony where a flag was given in honor of a fallen soldier or retired member of our force. We have shed tears, cheers, and read about the lives of many people and have taught a young group of girls the spirit of being an American. You have the RIGHT to cast judgment of another persons expression of their love, experiences, knowledge and right or freedom of expression because you are from America. I once heard of a woman that turned a flag she was given upon her husbands death into a coat. A man came up and JUDGED her because she was WEARing an American flag. She stated that is was the only was she felt that he was as close to her heart as possible. Think about it! Do you know what is going on in someone's head? The question is do you think enough about others feelings to truly care? May your father rest in peace!
