If there were term limits, or service limits of four years, we would get the turnover that I agree would be good. Won't happen, the long timers have the power to get the "roads to nowhere" (queue the "Talking Heads"). Just as we have people voting straight ticket because their parents did, the people of this country are not fed up enough to make a CONSTRUCTIVE change in DC. Too many seem to forget that "no change" is not always bad, and "change" is not always good, gridlock can be good for the citizens. When we asked my Grandmother if she was going to vote for Reagan, she said that she would NEVER vote for a Republican - we asked if she supported abortion - "oh no" - and did she support higher taxes and more Government give a ways - "oh no, I worked too hard for my money." I told her that meant she was a Republican - "oh no, my father would turn over in his grave." There are still people like that....
