Show me a Congressman or Senator who doesn't say at least stupid thing a day. They all do it, particularly any time that they have a chance at a microphone. Part of the requirement for the job is to love the sound of your own voice. McCain has said ridiculous things, Obama has said ridiculous things, Palin and Biden have said ridiculous things.

I don't know why the media wastes time with these kinds of questions. Like all other executives, she probably read whatever her staff put in front of her in her "urgent" folder.
