SCARY Sarah Palin?

I have to wonder why you Dems keep saying Sarah Palin is so scary? I mean, really. She isn't all that different from a lot of women I know here in the South. She's a Mom, she loves sports, she is a Christian, and she did things growing up a lot of us did. She was in a few pageants, she played sports, she married her high school sweetheart. What is scary about any of those things?
Which leads me to the related topic...what qualifications should a VP have? Some had no government experience at all, but were business cronies or just 'well attached' to the Pres. Some had been in government before. A VP presides over the Senate and acts as tie-breaker when necessary. They may be grooming to be President, or not, but they are pretty much doing what the President tells them to do.
I like Sarah. I think she could come in my house, sit in my kitchen, and we could have a very down to earth conversation. She isn't rich, she isn't part of the Washington in-crowd, she's just a normal person. Believe me, I have a Washington insider in my family and I wouldn't trust him farther than I could throw him, so that isn't a Pro.
