about coal plants. This is just coming out. How can people in PN and Ohio that has thousands of jobs that depend on coal vote for him. Obviously they did not know his thinking. BO also said to plan for significantly higher electric rates because of this until alternative sources are developed. Oh great, doesn't he think that would be just like a tax on people that can afford it the least. Or does he not care. Or will this mean more wealth has to be shared "according to need".

Here is his actual quote:

"So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It's just that it will bankrupt them, because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted,"
