I think Obama's response to North Korea was appropriate. Lets see if it is all lip service or if he will follow though with a measured response to make sure they know we will not allow this to continue. The danger is who they will sell the technology to, not that they could be a direct threat to us, even though their missles could reach hawaii and alaska. I am sure Obama is worried about Alaska. The immediate threat is for South Korea. Since I have traveled there often, they still go through air raid tests regularly.
