It amazes me that you consistently are ignorant of history, even recent history. The fact is that when the Republican Party held to the very same conservative principals that I hold they had tremendous electoral success. We controlled both the House and Senate and the White House. When Republicans abandoned the very same conservative principals over the eight years of Bush they have been sent to the electoral woodshed.

I will take my own counsel on what Republicans need to do to regain some measure of control over the government and not from some Washington insider leftist who defends an incompetent administration. And please try to use facts if you want to dispute my contention but you cannot because the facts are what they are.

You say we focus on small gaffes but that is not true. I would point out my many posts demonstrating that Obama is a socialist and he is selling our children and grandchildren down the river with trillions in wasted government spending and debt. For that alone he deserves to be drummed out of office like Jimmy Carter. That is neither insignificant nor minor. I would point out his stupid decision to "close" Guantanamo and here we are still trying to figure what to do with hardened Islamofascists who given the chance would gladly behead you, the Messiah and any other American they can get their evil hands on. And we are now begging Europe to take them off our hands because he proclaimed something without thinking it through. That was an incredibly stupid thing for him to do and that is no small gaffe. I would point out that he is trying to nationalize multiple corporations and is trying to use the Soviet command and control style of government and it will be a disaster because in all of history it has never worked but he is too stupid and ideological that he doesn't care about America, he only cares about advancing the Democrat party and paying off the unions. I could go on but any one of these, let alone all three, are sufficient justification for sending him back to ACORN accomplishing nothing.....

All the others are merely smaller examples of his fecklessness and incompetence. As I said, it is weaving a tapestry that would cause any intellectually honest person who voted for him (other than the 30% on the far left) to realize that they made a mistake.......but not you.
