I have a 07 Bennington tri toon with a Yamaha 250 4 stroke. With clean toons, biminis down, and morning water, GPS indicates 51 knots, with speedo tapping on 60 mph. Lessons learned include boat is real slow to turn, you can't have ANYTHING loose on deck, even cd's in plastic covers or Type IV fd, and, at that speed never let your drooling golden retriever stand forward of you.
