I wouldn't vote for Hillary either. But even at that, you have to admit she's a strong, smart woman and I think she's actually doing a good job as Secretary.

It isn't that Palin speaks frankly that bothers me. I'm all for people speaking frankly. What I don't like about her, is that she doesn't seem to think she has to learn the issues. I don't particularly care if she is politically correct either. But, she has to be able to convince me she knows what she is talking about. She tried to cover up her lack of knowledge with "folksiness" just doesn't cut it; and this has continued even after the election. For me to respect her, there would have to be less rhetoric and more substance.

It's like the press conference she held to announce she was giving up her governorship. You can't convince me that she seriously thought about what she was going to say and how to best articulate her reasons. It's a huge job and an important one, yet she flips it off like she's quitting working as a counter girl at MacDonald's. (No offense intended if anyone owns or works at McD's).
