As I mentioned in my post below... I usually am on Percy Priest Lake... just outside of Nashville. Center Hill is owned by the Corps of Engineers... which is why there is so few homes on the lake. You would have to be half billy goat to get to the lake from most of the "lake homes" there. Right now the lake is being held down because of dam problems... dam leaks... Wel actually it is the dam and the hill sides ajoining the dam that are leaking. This area is almost all limestone. Not the best rock to put dams up against. I believe the water level in the summer is around twenty feet below summer pool. I was up there back in the spring and the level was about a foot above summer pool... all of the people at the docks were overjoyed... I hated to think that it wasn't going to last. I noticed on the Corps site that they pulled it down very fast. The lake is part of the Cany Fork river systen.. it flows into the Cumberland above Nashville. Nashville also has Lake Cumberland above... and it;s dam, the Wolf Creek Dam, also has dam problems... with what else... seepage. It doesn;t look too go for Nashville now does it? Center Hill is a beautiful lake.. and you can still find areas thta are secluded and smooth.

FYI, I wrote to you on the Percy Priest page a while back about the river system, don't know if you wil ever have any traffic on these sites, but I hope that someday they will be worth your while. Percy Priest , from what I have heard, I the most fished lake in Tennessee... and it is really just a large pond, especially compared to Martin. But we have a great Party Cove.. as a lot of lakes do.

Crappy : )
