I hope you went with someone who has an inboard and rear platform rather than using your deck boat.....I would never surf behind an I/O because of the possibility of contacting the prop (even if you do have a swim platform). We have been wakesurfing for about 4 years now, and I've seen the board and riders end up in places you wouldn't expect. You must also pay attention to the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning with this sport.
