LO, no reason for concern. The growth in national debt is just a number, easily paid for with ObamaDollars. Companies forecasting the tremendous increase in expense are clearly misleading people ahead of an increase in prices to pad their profits. Comrade Waxman will prove that in hearings next month. The National Debt is just a meaningless factor in our march to make everyone feel good about efforts to equalize outcome for all except the elites, regardless of contribution. Taxes on business are the way to move forward so real people don't have to pay.
But seriously, AT&T, Deere, Cat, MS, ALL READ THE BILL, all understood the impact, and all are taking measures to protect their future success, as well as fully comply with SEC regs. The objective of the Marxist house committee leaders is truly redistribution of wealth. The objective of the current administration, in place largely because of the efforts of George Soros, and "swooners" voting for change, without a clue as to the historically stated path the then candidate intended to take, is to crash the currency. Working in tandem, they have put us on a dangerous path. Don't be surprised if last weeks news about the current state of Social Security becomes a crisis to accelerate the Andy Stern/SEIU program of central gummint confiscation and sharing of retirement savings.
Here is what must happen NOW. This HCR bill must be repealed. Illegals must be sent packing, and walk away from NAFTA. Ethanol mandates must be lifted, and farm subsidies suspended. Federal and State spending must be rolled back to, and held at, 2003 levels. Let the Bush tax cuts expire. All surplus monies must be used to retire accumulated debt. Simultaneously build nuclear power plants while opening up/incentivizing domestic oil drilling, keeping more dollars at home. Once we attain stability in our checkbook, and are less reliant on bond sales, adopt and implement 21st Century "Fair Trade" Policies.
537 people are directly responsible for the current situation, and we have the opportunity in November to hold 468 of them accountable. Don't be surprised if, as the sleeping giant of a silent majority continues to stir, the FCC reimposes the "fairness doctrine". I pray daily that I will be proven wrong with the next thought but, as history tends to repeat itself, I would not be surprised with a suspension of some constitutional rights ahead of an election moving unfavorably for the current people in positions of power.
