Had dinner here last night, party of 5, restaurant was less than 1/3 full. Ordered drinks and appetizers and waited to order dinner once the appetizers showed up. After about 15 minutes and several assurances that the appetizers were "coming right out", they finally showed up. We ordered dinner and ate our appetizers. After this we kept waiting and waiting for our salads to come out. Finally after being in the restaurant for over 45 minutes out came our entrees, no salad. We told the waitress that we had not received our salads but did not want them at this time and that the bill should be adjusted for this.

Ate dinner and the food was very good. When the bill came there was no adjustment for the lack of salad and asked the waitress about this. She stated there would be no adjustment as the salad was part of the cost of the entree. Not following this logic we asked to speak to a manager. After waiting about 10 minutes with no manager in sight we paid cash for the bill and got up to leave. Now the manager shows up, shows us the grand total of 6 bucks he has taken off the bill and apologizes. We paid the adjusted total in cash and left.

It is sad that when you try to patronize local businesses and have a less than perfect experience that they do little or nothing to correct the situation. This was really not about the money involved but the way the experience was handled which was poorly. The manager did apologize but only after we pressed the issue. I realize this will not hurt their business at all but it continues to be an uneven dining experience at best and that is sad for our area.
