Soaker hose for the garden - you know those hoses that have the holes in them and lays flat on the ground. Would suspect they would yield more water than the drip hoses.

Our garden is watered by the sprinkler system (soaker heads) on Mon, Wed & Fri for 30 minutes each day and have to say on some of these 100* days in the afternoon all the signs of watering are long gone. But garden keeps on producing and has been fine.

On the potted plants have no clue, as we finally just gave up on them after 5 years of trying, as we are not at the lake enough to ensure they are adequately watered.
