Thanks for the rundown. We agree on a lot more than not. I tend to not get too wrapped up in details - and thus for instance would say that we should strongly support Israel because I believe in the balance of power concept and they are the only real mitigation against the raghead loonies -that's a technical term by the way :>) - over there.

I would add that I am livid at the way income taxes are abused....I have a friend who owns a pawn shop and runs a tax prep shop in the projects on the side. The stories I hear are mind-boggling. I don't have a problem with low income people having a light to zero tax burden - but do have a problem with the rest of us taxpayers paying them for not making money.

Unfortunately hypocrisy among politicians is party-blind, and far too many on both sides of the aisle talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

I wonder if we could get a similar rundown from GF....that might be asking too much.
