good post. I agree with you. Those wanting people to "deal with it/more important issues,etc" totally miss the point. Our lake community has an economic engine that gets most of its income over a 5 month timeframe. Lack of activity on the lake means many local businesses will suffer. Cleaning up the lake is important to do now---for two reasons, safety of boaters and economic impact on our community--in that order.

Are there more important areas and destruction? Of course. Most of us have to deal with more than one problem at a time, and do so daily.
We need to aggressively remove the barrier to safety and economic health of our community. That is important--also.
