Its because she is like many on the left. They see everyone as a hyphenated American belonging to one class or another either requiring special accommodations (ie, prayer rugs, prayer time, special foods, etc.) or requiring special punishment (ie, a white males). It is really an attempt to get you to say something so she can hold onto her preconceived belief that you are a homophobic, anti-Muslim, evangelical white racist because you oppose the Messiah. When you run out of intellectual arguments to support a failed President that you voted for it makes you feel better to demonize the opposition. Better that than to admit actually having made an error in the voting booth.

Like you I could care less about a person's gender, sexual orientation, race or religious affiliation. I care about the content of their character and what they believe is best for America. If they are on the right side of the issues they are OK with me regardless of who they are. And if they are wrong (i.e., liberal or progressive) they are not OK with me regardless of who they are.
