The issue is that Romney MADE a big deal of releasing his return(s). First, current year only in April after the primary season is completed. Then, he loses SC and suddenly releases 2010. He came across as trying to either hide somethng by avoiding a release.

Newt may owe more Medicare tax. He declared over 2 million in profit which is not subject to the the tax and a much lower salary which is subject to the tax for he and his wife. I suspect his return will be audited and he will have to pay additional tax .
