I know this will probably be laughed at, but do people not realize that their wake is so destructive? I have never seen as much activity around chucks marina slough as there was this weekend. I have never seen the water so turbulent. It looks like if people wanted to ski with those boats that churn up the water, they would go out to the big water. Our pontoon boat took a beating at our dock that I have never seen it take before. The waves just seemed to appear out of nowhere. Please (and I know I am preaching to the choir), be considerate of other's Property. We had just untied our boat to leave the dock and a rogue wave rocked it so violently that it almost tore down the sides of the slip. Not to mention that it was thrashing around so high that the 7 children who were unaware of what was about to happen were thrown around the boat deck like toys. It was a frightening experience for all. In 6 years I have never seen anything like it. Besides installing a lift, what else can be done?
