That's a fact of life when you live on bigger water. We used to rent a house right across from Chuck's before we bought ours. I loved the view but when we bought we looked for a quiet slough. Yeah the water mostly goes away in the winter but my boat is winterized anyway so no big deal. But in the summer we have the occasional jet ski zoom in and out and a cruising boat but no big waves.

If I lived on big water I would definitely have a boat lift.
