Trending down? So you want me to give him credit that they are 2.1 times higher vs 2.2 times higher a couple months ago.   Yes I will give him credit.

It is odd that the dems and Obama when he ran the 1st time said it was a disgrace that gas prices were so high and how it hurts the US economy and called for Bush to release oil from the strategic oil reserves. But now it is no big deal and throw up your hands that the president can't do anything about it.

Wrong, it is do to his policies that we have had "continued" prices over $3.50 during his whole administration and they are trending higher if you look more than a month or two at a time.

It is his focus on wind mills and solar panels, restricting drilling on federal lands, will not approve an energy policy that uses our abundance of natural gas, refusal to approve the Keystone pipeline ... I could go on.

Yet you compare a "spot" blip under Bush that lasted around 4 to 6 weeks due to major refiners being down and economic activity that was creating demand.   Can you imagine if we actually had a robust economy like under Bush what gas and oil prices would be.
