I love my Bennington, but not happy at all with the dealer choices at Lake Martin. I wish Cathouse carried Bennington! I'm not very familiar with Southbay, but you should test drive a Bennington with ESP performance handling package and/or the Manitou SHP handling package (Premier also has a good high end handling package). All three of these boats are very nimble and are miles ahead of a typical pontoon in handling and performance. Other companies have started to realize their shortcomings and have started throwing some players into the competition. If shopping, my plan would be to try Southbay with their best package after experiencing ESP or SHP. If the Southbay holds its own againts these boats (or even if it doesn't), you won't go wrong with a purchase from the Cathouse. Good honest reliable service means A LOT!
