Good advice from all but one thing to consider is if you really want/need a tritoon. They do have a couple of distinct advantages with the biggest being added weight capacity and usually extra storage but in many instances the perfaormance enhancements can be acheived without the added expense of the third tube. Some, if not all, manufacturers now offer performance enhancement packages that will boost perfromance without adding a tube. Contrary to popular belief just adding the third tube doesn't increase the boats handling in a very significant way. You can't go wrong doing business with CAT but make sure you check out the G3 line also. G3 is wholly owned by Yamaha and makes a great boat. I haven't kept up with what is available on any of lines the last couple of years but I really like the new seat designs and layouts, especially the rear facing loungers.
