Once again the gun control advocates are going nuts wanting to ban guns. They are not waiting to consider that this was a seriously deranged young man, that had been texting threatening messages to his MIL. They are not stopping to consider that an armed neighbor was able to wound and chase down the shooter to keep him from killing anyone else.
My heart goes out to the members of the community of that town. But I have yet to hear one of them suggest that guns should be banned. And I ask the gun control advocates if they would suggest banning trucks, if he rammed the church doors with a truck and killed people
This was a case where a number of people knew this man was deranged, perhaps a danger to himself and others, but no one acted. They knew he left the military under unusual circumstances, people considered him off and weird, but no one reported anything. Why did the MIL not report the threats to the sheriff?
