Lamont, a good salesman promotes their product's merits and benefits and how they will fulfill the customer's needs. They do not cut down or slight the rival products, because it brings negativity into the interaction and into the customer's consciousness. This is true also when trying to sell a candidate to a citizen.

Bush's administration, like previous administrations, has made some good decisions and some bad decisions. Speaking negative about Kerry-Edwards isn't promoting Bush, it's promoting negativism. Now that's just what America needs...

Desperate? That's for the salespeople who don't have a good product to sell and need to slight their rivals. Bashing? Nope, simply observing the CEO's negativism OR whatever you call that brand of spin. If the shoe doesn't fit....

I think Bush's administration has done some good things and some things that could have been thought thru a little better. I also think that Kerry offers an alternative to those folks who want an alternative -- regardless of their reasons. I haven't read of any past president in history who ruined the USA, thanks to the separations of powers. Our country will survive Bush-Cheney or Kerry-Edwards. There isn't a dimes worth of difference between the two, and neither has the working- or middle-class's interest at heart.

The forum has certainly gotten livelier. LOL!
