Here are just a few direct quotes from the boating laws to help you out:

It shall be unlawful to operate a vessel in a careless manner upon the waters of this state. Careless operation is the endangerment of life, limb, or property through negligence, carelessness, or inattention of the operator.

All vessels shall be operated at reasonable speeds for given situations and must be under the complete control of the operator at all times.

It is unlawful to operate a vessel in a reckless manner upon the waters of this state. A person is guilty of reckless operation when he operates any vessel or manipulates any waterskis or any other marine transportation device upon the waters of this state in a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property at a speed or in a manner to endanger or likely to endanger life, limb, or property or injury of any person.

These few examples give the marine police extensive latitude if needed.

In addition, here are my previous comments as they pertain to the laws:

“I agree we should have more no wake zones, restricted speed areas, and night time speed limits, as they pertain to public safety.”

NOW, here are your exact comments about the laws, and the reason one might assume you have a drinking problem:

“What Laws exist that apply to the current situation?
Speed laws? NO
No wake enforcement laws? NO
DUI Laws? THAT'S IT. WE'LL PUT MORE MARINE POLICE IN THE LAKE TO STRICTLY ENFORCE DRINKING LAWS. THEN MOST OF US WILL BE IN JAIL, HAVE OUR BOAT AND CARS TAKEN AWAY FROM US FOR TOO MANY DUI'S OR WE WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE INSURANCE. I believe boating DUI's go on your driving record.
THAT'S IT WE'LL JUST ENFORCE OUR CURRENT LAWS!!!!”

And finally....Yes, I have taken the coast guard test; I have also taught the course.
