We stayed down on a Monday about 3 weeks ago and when passing the Kowiliga bridge saw one land at, and about 5 minutes later take off from, the public ramp. Assumed they were picking up shore patrol. They spent the rest of the day flying the shorelines of Little Kowiliga and Parker Creeks, every inlet and slough. Assumed they were checking levels and spotting hazards.
