Well I am not the editor...and again there is always six sides to every story...

I always read Growing Up and loved it and even asked what happened to Mr Bailey when I took this job. I promise you the link you provided is one side and the other side is quite different.

I am a very open-minded person and refuse to jump on Mr Bailey, Gwen, or Russell Lands band wagon in this matter. I can only try to make a positive impact from today. I can not change the past nor avenge a wrong word or hurt feeling.

My main goal in this project is to help clean up our Lake. I was born on Lake Martin and will probably die here. I am ashamed at what has been exposed this year. I am also terrified ( as a mother) of what my children have been walking on...I want and will make this happen REGARDLESS of an article published or not published.

I guess it is too much to ask for petty differences to be put aside and allow The entire Lake Community to present a united front against the negative NATIONAL press. Can't we decide ourselves to take a different approach and use this opportunity to grow -

When the Good Lord brings the rain back and we are again at the Glorious Full Pool mark...How nice would it be to be THE CLEANESS LAKE in the Southeast. Can we at least agree THATis a goal worth us ALL fighting for ???
