I know two guys that killed a 10 point swimming across Harris the first year it was open to fishing. Still in velvet fir the most part, beautiful mount. They managed to get it on the opening day of primitive weapon season while fishing. Thier first plan was to circle it till it got tired and drowned, but the flaw in that plan soon became obviuos so they switched to 'plan B'. They used the anchor roped and lassoed (sp?) his rack. It took several tries but once they finally got the lasso around his rack, he went under and that was it. 10 point bucked killed with a rope. Now that is a "PRIMATIVE WEAPON!!

Hillarious story to hear the two of them tell it. Last I heard they shared the rack still switching it every year.
