Thanks Steve, excellent post, you will never change their minds, that is why I have decided not to support the HOBOS of Lake Martin any more, they say they are for all boats, but that is simple not true. What they should say is Home Owners and Boat owners under 26' 11" ......or just not say boat owners at all...very sad....as this is a very big lake that should be able to support us all.

And for bob.....well seems like you are the whinner in this one!

I have stated before how fast I have been in a boat...but that is not how fast I prefer to go in a boat all the times....there is a big difference....and I would hope that most of you would understand that....my boat is a 20' Proline that will run 45mph at wot and I perfer to drive about 30mph.....so this Boat Ban does not effect me YET.......that little word YET is so important to me, but it does effect alot of very nice and responsible boaters and families that enjoy Our Public Lake and that is simple not fair, anybody that supports this bill should be ashamed of themselves....it is the operator of the boat that is responsible for it's actions NOT THE BOAT!
