I've always left my bumders (thats a blend) hanging over the side of my Crest because it was a pain to untie the lines. The other day I installed these locking eyes to the front deck and shortened the ropes and knots. Know I can easily reach over, pull them in and store them inside the rails while underway. Keeps the wife and kid from getting splashed. They cost 16 bucks at West Marine and were an easy install for anyone interested.
