Because it is the United States Of America......Please remember that young men and women are dying in the desert so everyone here has the right to buy or worship or live anywhere they wish. You people that are chiming in with your 2 cents worth on what you do or don't think should be here should look at the big picture. What happens if something you own is next. There are already laws that state any damage that someone does to your boat or property with their wake is their responsibility. Only problem is you have to catch them or film them. There are also noise restrictions that the MP enforce. Why do we need more laws that basically state the same thing that the existing laws already say. Don't be surprised to see a ban on anything that is 2 stroke (mixes gas and oil together) coming soon. They are very bad for the environment. How will you feel if you have a 2 stroke boat and a few jet skis and they are now banned. All I'm saying is just cause it doesn't affect you, the big picture is it affects someone and you may be next. And by the way, If you don't know the correct answer to a question posted here and can not back it up with a link to prove your answer, just don't bother to answer with what you think.
